How does the funding actually work?

Pledges are held, not charged, while a pitch is live. If it reaches its funding goal by the deadline, pledges are collected and the creator moves into production. If it doesn’t reach the goal, nothing is charged and no files are owed — the pitch simply closes.

What do I actually receive when I back a pitch?

Digital file sets, not a physical object shipped to you — unless you back a Platinum tier. Bronze and Silver tiers deliver print-ready STL files (resin and FDM variants); Gold adds reference and variant files; Platinum adds a hand-finished physical cast, numbered and shipped directly.

Will these files actually print on my printer?

Every pitch lists its material path in the spec sheet — resin-first, FDM-first, or both — along with scale, part count, and geometry. Creators split larger sculpts into keyed, bed-sized parts and pre-support resin files, so check the spec sheet on each listing before backing.

What happens if a pitch doesn’t reach its goal?

Nothing is charged. Funding on The Collector Grade is all-or-nothing: a pitch only collects pledges if it hits its goal by the deadline, so you’re never paying for a model that never gets made.
